Hills of Rock Plovdiv

During the last four year, the second-largest city in Bulgaria and one of the European Capitals of Culture for 2019, Plovdiv has hosted one of the most popular annual music festivals in Europe. The city has welcomed more than 50 rock bands and an audience of over 50,000 people from around the world. This summer between July 24-26, the Plovdiv Rowling Canal will be transformed into a festival zone with 3 different stages, a camping area and food and drink halls. Fans of rock and heavy metal music will have the opportunity to see some of their favourite bands on the Hills of Rock stage. More than 50 groups will take part in this year's edition. The official program has not yet been announced, but some of the headliners of the festival have already been revealed. 

For the first time, the American heavy metal band Slipknot will visit Bulgaria and participate in the third and final day of Hills of Rock 2020. The popular Swedish band Amon Amarth will mark the opening of the festival on July 24th. Dark Sky Choir, Dagoba, Nervosa, Basska, Boomerang, Pizza and many more are part of the revealed names who will be performing on the stage at Hills of Rock 2020.

This year's event also promises to be a memorable, full of emotions, music and rock atmosphere, once in a lifetime experience.
