Skis, boards and the right car
Ski luggage is the most common reason people end up in the wrong car. A sedan takes up to 4 passengers, but four people with suitcases and ski bags will not fit comfortably. Our rule of thumb:
- 1–2 skiers with equipment: sedan.
- 3–4 skiers with equipment: minivan.
- 5–8 skiers: minibus.
Tell us how many ski or board bags you have when you book and we will suggest the car. Child seats are free.
A ski week with one driver
Most of our ski clients book three trips: the transfer in, the transfer out, and one day trip in the middle of the week, when legs are tired or the weather closes the top lifts. Booking all three together means one contact for the whole holiday.
From Bansko
Rila Monastery, the best-known monastery in Bulgaria, is about two hours away. Closer to the resort, the old town of Bansko itself is worth an afternoon, and the villages of the Razlog valley have mineral pools for a rest day.
From Borovets
Borovets is the closest resort to Sofia, so a day in the capital is easy: about an hour and a half each way. Samokov, at the foot of the mountain, is 10 km away and has a small historic centre.
From Pamporovo
The Rhodopes around Pamporovo are known for their villages. Shiroka Laka, with its stone houses, is a short drive, and Smolyan is about half an hour away. Plovdiv is close enough for a full day in the city.
For these trips we use the car with driver packages: for example 6 hours and 100 km in a standard car for 150 €, or 8 hours and 125 km for 180 €. The driver waits for you at each stop.
Winter roads and flights
We drive the mountain roads every day of the season and our cars are prepared for winter. We follow your flight, and if it lands late the driver waits for you free of charge. If snow slows the road, we tell you in advance and plan the pick-up time for your departure flight with a safe margin.
How to book
